Xinghai 1000 Polar AUV
Developed through four years of joint efforts by multiple organizations including Harbin Engineering University, the Polar Research Institute of China, the 702nd Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, Tianjin University, Taiyuan University of Technology and Haoye Technology, the Xinghai 1000 is a polar exploration unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV).

It joined the 13th Chinese Arctic Expedition on board icebreaker Xuelong 2 and accomplished China's first observation of Arctic sea ice under-ice features.
