This autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV), developed by the Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences and operated by the Institute of Deep-Sea Science and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, has a maximum diving depth of 11,000 meters. It can autonomously return to a charging station underwater for recharging and achieve long-term underwater deployment.
