China’s 13th Arctic Scientific Expedition team returned to Shanghai aboard the polar research icebreaker Xuelong 2 after completing a 78-day scientific expedition.
The Xinghai 1000 polar AUV, developed by the National Key Laboratory of Underwater Robot Technology at Harbin Engineering University, joined the expedition and obtained large‑scale under‑ice topography and morphology data in the Arctic for the first time in China.
