Innovation-Driven Domestic Replacement, a Pioneer in the Underwater Power Sector

On December 12, 2024, the National Finals of the 9th "Maker China" Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition concluded successfully in Dongguan, Guangdong. Haoye Technology was awarded the Second Prize in the Enterprise Group for its project entitled "Serial Development of Electric Propulsion Systems for Submersibles". As a pioneer in underwater power systems, Haoye Technology has emerged as a global industry leader through a decade of independent R&D efforts.

Haoye Technology's electric propulsion systems for submersibles stand out prominently in technological innovation and market application. Characterized by high efficiency, high reliability and strong adaptability, this product series is widely applied in a variety of fields including scientific research submersibles, marine detection equipment and engineering operation submersibles, setting a new benchmark for advancing the localization and intellectualization of underwater power technology. In addition, the company has successfully developed a serialized new energy marine electric propulsion system with a power range of 1-100kW, which has been widely adopted in scenic spots and for personal leisure vessels both at home and abroad. This award fully demonstrates Haoye Technology's core competitiveness in the underwater power system sector. By continuously breaking through technological barriers, Haoye Technology has achieved an all-round leading position in product performance, filled domestic technological gaps, successfully replaced imported products, and boosted the global expansion of China's equipment manufacturing.

This competition was co-hosted by the Cybersecurity Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (Information Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology), the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province and the People's Government of Dongguan City, aiming to identify and support high-growth and highly innovative projects of small and medium-sized enterprises and boost the high-quality development of the industry. A total of about 35,000 projects registered for this competition, with the top 50 enterprises and top 10 makers advancing to compete in the national finals. During the competition, in addition to project roadshow evaluations and award ceremonies, a competition achievement exhibition and a physical exhibition of outstanding projects were held, along with working forums and exchanges for project leaders, creating a platform for participating enterprises to showcase achievements, share experience and expand cooperation.
