The "Underwater Helicopter" project, a key project under the National Key R&D Program "Key Technologies and Equipment for Deep Sea", was led by Zhejiang University and jointly participated by the Shenyang Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Deep-Sea Science and Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Hohai University and other institutions.It has completed sea trials and acceptance in the South China Sea, with the diving depth of the underwater helicopter successfully exceeding 1000 meters for the first time.
