"The Seabed Ferrari" was developed by Professor Huang Hai and his team from the School of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, Harbin Engineering University, based on the key project "Research on Autonomous Environmental Perception and Non-Destructive Grasping of Biological Targets for Underwater Robots" supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. The project started in 2016.
